    Description

    New UltraPure IEX filter containing Mitsubishi high capacity UltraPure Water Grade mixed bed ion exchange resin for removal of charged molecules contributing to elevated TDS. Ultrapure Water Grade ion exchange resin is used for applications where extremely high water purity is required, such as pharmaceutical manufacture and semiconductors. Incorporated as a post Reverse Osmosis filter, 99.9% pure water is achievable. We have tested these filters in our reverse osmosis systems and found the water quality, after filtration, to approach12-17 MOhm-cm, the highest water purity achievable without distillation. UltraPure IEX is well suited for the water quality requirements of saltwater and reef aquarium enthusiasts, as well as a post RO polishing filter, prior to remineralization, for drinking water RO systems.
